Why would you do that to me? Do you hate me that you would make me use shareasale? CJ is by far the easiest.. and why would you not have a bit.ly short url like amazon does? you are selling social but using old styled affiliate ads. Demand a short URL because that is all I need and want. Contact bit.ly, they have a pro service and if they did it for amazon I am sure they would do it for you. Plus you could brand it. know.ly which says to people the link is legit. Marketing is not something you can do half way.. all you smart people with these brilliant services having no idea to sell it.

What you need to do is contextualize each username.. show how each feed can be used for genre of job. Embrace the tuber. Find tubers who are partners that could talk about ow they use different social sites to connect with people. I call it cyber acting because to observe is to change... physics.. give them the short URL plus offer to feature them in your website and social feeds. Trade traffic for traffic because everybody watches youtube. It is our shared social characteristics and interests which bring us to different tubers.. so if you are a web designer.. or an artist.. or in sales yoou likely watch videos along that genre which are the people who will benifet from your business because social sites used sites should improve service, generate sales at half the cost and be much more affective at generating repeat business..

the happy baker chick may be hot but...

she has not clue and apparently her PR department(arlene) has no clue about how to use the internet to supplement her TV appearances.. She links to a facebook group even though groups are dead.. Myspace just lost its second CEO and its numbers are dwindling at an alarming rate. They are losing their ad deal with google coming up and frankly with their page views falling they will not get anything close to that again. She doesn't have a youtube channel or at least not one she links to even though she would be perfect for youtube. I would argue she could make more money off youtube and ustream than selling her book.. which is not on amazon.ca or .com and don't give me this crap.. if you want to be successful you find a way...

When will people learn to respect the feed.. fans, followers and subs... are more important than your silly websites.. It makes me want to scream cause with her personality the PR she gets should all be used to translate into a social stream which will power her books sales.. twitter coupons.. facebook coupons...

Is Buzz reducing your page views?

Ever since I started using Buzz, I stopped needing to go to the blogs I follow to read and comment on the stories instead choosing to use the commenting system in Buzz. What if over time this leads to less comments and ad revenue to blogs? Should google give people some sort of revenue sharing by putting an ad or two in the buzz stream? If you are a blogger who uses that to make money and Buzz reduces that money are you going to continue to link your blog to Buzz?

Who is doing your marketing? We have to talk..

Here was this exciting, funny, hot to a lot of men cause it is cold in canada and it is nice to have a girl who is soft and can keep you warm. Plus you cook.. why are you single.. how are you single.. your a red head.. a rarity for men.. I am not saying this because I want to date you.. I am in the I have no desire to date again cause women are insane.. bipolar by very nature..

Why do you not have a fanpage? Don't tell me you have a group.. cause a fanpage is a 100 times more important.. and stupid easy to do. Your sexy and you would be plenty sexy and snazy as heck on youtube.. a 1000 subs which you would get in 3 months. Do your video as video responses to some of the top cooking shows on youtube. Your videos which just be you making some item on ustream which you do quicktime to a differnet logo indie band in canada. Really share that brand. You link to your book in amazon.com and .ca. I don't care if you have a US email address. You better believe I would get one.. I am sure there are ways to do this that are cost effective.

I would email posterous.com then go to your blog and link to a blogger true url blog with adsense. I would link your twitter, link to your fanpage.. and you have a feed that can make you money off you cause you have stories.. and you got style.. and your red and Queen LAtifa.. sexy.. so cannot spell..

More sites without favicons.. see it is not the book that is the brand it is you. You can turn this book into a carreer making live cooking videos on ustream and getting paid to do it.. you could do the I got date.. would you fly in and make dinner for us... or you could have someone interesting to do it with you.. but more guys guy.. I am lazy... want to get laid.. teach me the food that will get ...

Your the star.. not the book.. it is you and people will buy your book cause they like you.. but you want them to retweet and fbshare what amazon calls a short url that is a link to amazon where you can buy it and don't say paypal is enough.. not really... amazon stores creditcards.. single click and ship and it is all over the web. Plus you can get 4% commision from selling book in addition to what you already get.. but I would suggest taking that 4% and using it in twitter and facebook coupons.. do youtube videos saying retweet this to win a book... and then doing some random method..

Be a star... cause online in the circus that is the web you have more natural ability to market yourself and turn you into a brand...

Feedback from the igebadia

Would you consider making a short URL affiliate program? Amazon does it, perhaps you could create a package with a 1 terabyte hard drive, you sell in amazon and it is set up to backup the folder offline also. Surprised you don't partner with mozy. seems like you all would do wonders together.

See databackup is a big thing for people. I would suggest linking with media temple and have a back up my server folder in dropbox. that would be worth something to me. Your service is like a mobile shared network. It is so hard to get data from 2nd and 3rd world countries...

but the whole industry is scared silly of security. Shared networks are so inefficent in windows.. in my mind that is the biggest weakness in technology.

I am a guy building a facebook app trying to work with india, I have a latin hardrock star who suffers from depresion, a 17 teen year old wiz kid..

See you should do more than spread the word... Marketing can be done with a little work. Embrace the tuber. These are the users which has multiple computers, loves to collabe and your service would save you time..

Get ijustine or ipod kid or grab someone that is mobile.. what is dropbox.. it is getting up ay 7 am to go cave diving, drinking tropical rum and working on the beach..

drop box just made your office the world.

You also need a social marketing plan.. lose the dropbox logo in your facebook fan page, The recession and bail out changed people. we don't trust logos.. you guys have such a story..

do youtube videos around how do they do that.. or satire.. run a contest which is focused on getting people to retweet or share.. make it like a scavenger hunt..

Here is one.. I was in mexico.. rocco the lead singer for winds of pain got asked to sing at hardrock.. I got media of him. It would be nice to plug it in and since you allow for data syncing.. sync to my drop box, sync to someone to edit and release the video on youtube..

Can we talk about your new wiki?

From a users perspective this is what matters to me..

1. Unique URL. A simple video showing how to set godaddy URL to work with stackexchange wiki. Please don't say forward... which doesn't give a good SEO.

2. Blog link in. Talk to posterous and API in there blog into your wiki.

3. Social: Being able to add social elements without any real work would be great. The easier you make something the bigger your market is.

4. adsense: why make users have to figure this out. Even match the color of the ads to the forground, background. Success for you is having them be profitable.

5. I might also have a way businesses could offer different levels of direct service. Free which is the wiki as it is now. Then direct help which you could charge a monthly fee.

6. You could do an amazon product link in for sites that focus on tech.

7. Notifications. Talk to ping.fm or something. Your industry rep is good enough that you could have someone else build this in. Charge $10 a month for this feature.. give them a %.. suddenly you both have another way to make moola.

8. get er done feature: For $500 you tell us the colors, the social aspects and trust us to rock.. there are numerous companies that do web stuff... you could probably get the cost to about $200 a site and take $300 in profit.. I remember someone saying they would make a template styled site for $200. Your just needs the color changed. Some minor CSS... social features built in and you all could make this single click easy to do.

Why do you waste so much money on advertising?

First off that was not cool, not standing by Tiger... afterall it was your fault he got all those girls. He used your razors and in your commercials you basically say a smooth shave will get you laid.. who knew that a good shave could cause that effect.. dam tiger.. but hey if you had to pick a guy to pass on his DNA from an evolutionary standpoint.. who would be better than Woods.

Really the only question is does he have the Asian site pee pee or the Black size...

Ok now that I have told that joke why do you even advertise.. I mean Gillete does give the best shave a man can get.. it is one of the few razors that does not slit your throat...

truth is you should put out warnings.. it is not axe that drives the girls crazy but gillete.. and I have the best idea for a new shaving cream that can double as water base lube.. shaving cream.. but water base lube so a guy can not get bugged.. and a father can give his kid a 100 condoms and your shaving cream.. and that way young people will learn to use condoms.. think of how cleaner carpets and bathtubs will be... seriously another site without a favicon.. arg.. I hate you flash..

Is the selection process for the Dragon's Den fair and clear..

Being an up and coming entrepreneur,at least in my eyes the show "the dragon's den" is very interesting to me. Like many people who want to be there own boss I too dream of getting on the show. The problem is the selection process is less than clear.

Instead of having a preset clear process of how to get on the show, it is subscribe to a newsletter and we will let you know. This annoys me because it should be clear after 5 seasons. What troubles me more is someone in the dragons den facebook group claiming he can get other people on the show and he knows Jim personally. This suggests that CBC a public TV company is not using a fair selection process. Instead it seems more interested in friends of friends.

Even more troubling is when you see people go on the show for a second time when you have been unable to get on the show once. Maybe it is my fault cause I ain't going to sub CBC and get my inbox full of spam..

I just think the show since it is a public station should have a very clear selection process. It annoys me when it becomes a friend of a friend because I have met a hell of a lot of businesses people in Canada who would do a far better job than the people on the show. I would likely be more interesting than 95% of the people on the show.. but I can't apply because the process is not clear.

What they should do is create a contest in youtube where we do an elevator pitch and post the URL in the fanpage. People vote on the best videos and they go on the show.

lol.. look at me I don't trust government run TV to be fair... how the world has changed where we look at our leaders with cynicism...
